Deep links are URLs that direct you to a specific page, or content on a website. They help you bypass navigation steps. By taking you directly to the page you wish to navigate to.

Examples:

• Linking to your Online Billing Statement within PAWS.
• Linking to the Help Desk support request form instead of linking to the UWM Home Page.
• Linking directly to a post or profile on X instead of linking to the X home page.
  
  

  Troubleshooting common problems:

  • The link takes me to the login page: Sign in with your UWM credentials and try again.

  • The link takes me to the homepage instead of the intended page: Check whether the URL is a general landing page or contains a temporary session identifier.

  • The link says I do not have permission/blocked by the organization: Verify that your account has access to the destination.

  • The link no longer works: Navigate to the destination again and obtain an updated URL.
