Kaltura Classroom Capture will not automatically appear in your Canvas course site. There are two ways that instructors can make these recordings available to students from within your Canvas course site:
Option #1 - Embed recording in a Page:
The first option is the preferred method. With this method you embed the video into a Page in the Modules area of your Canvas course site. This method is preferred because you can organize the recordings chronologically for students (e.g. the recordings from the second week of classes are added into a Module called “Week 2”). Instructions for this method can be found here: https://kb.uwm.edu/cetl/107627Option #2 - Publish recording to Media Gallery:
The second option is to publish the recordings to a special tool, called a Media Gallery. This tool can be accessed through the Canvas navigation and will allow students to see all the recordings that have been copied to your My Media account in one place. This distribution method is more confusing for students since they will not necessarily know to go to a separate navigation item to find recordings. In addition, recordings are dated, but not organized within modules chronologically. There are two steps to allow students viewing access to the Media Gallery. First, you’ll need to add the Media Gallery tool to your course navigation. Next, you’ll need to publish any recordings that have been copied to your My Media account to the Media Gallery in the course site: https://kb.uwm.edu/114185
