D2L - How do I make PDFs of D2L content?

This article discusses how to create PDFs of D2L course pages in Google Chrome and Adobe Acrobat.

Converting D2L webpages to PDFs in Chrome

  1. Navigate to the D2L course that needs to be converted to PDF.
  2. On each webpage in the course, right click anywhere on the page.
  3. With the right click tab open, click "Print..."
    1. Alternatively, on each page use Ctrl + P (Windows) or Command + P (MacOS)
  4. With the print tab open, click on the "Destination" drop-down tab.
  5. Select "Save as PDF."
  6. Click "Save."
  7. Enter in the appropriate file name.
  8. Click 'Save" again.

Repeat these steps for every D2L webpage that needs to be converted to a PDF for the course.

Converting D2L webpages to PDF using Adobe Acrobat

If Adobe Acrobat is installed on the computer, the extension can be added to your Google Chrome browser.
  1. Navigate to the D2L course that needs to be converted to PDF.
  2. On each webpage in the course, right click anywhere on the page.
  3. With the right click tab open, click "Adobe Acrobat."
  4. Select "Convert Web Page to Adobe PDF..."
  5. Enter in the appropriate file name.
  6. Click "Save."

Repeat these steps for every D2L webpage that needs to be converted to a PDF for the course.

If you do not see the Adobe Acrobat option, you may need to enable the Acrobat extension for Chrome: Adobe - Enable Adobe Acrobat extension for Google Chrome.
