Canvas Support - Where to get help with Canvas
This article lists the support contacts for the use of Canvas at UWM. Support information is provided for students, instructors, non-instructional staff, and guests of UWM.
In general, students and other course participants are served by Canvas Tier I support and the UWM Help Desk. Instructors are served by CETL, school and college support offices, and IT offices to facilitate day-to-day Canvas use. Instructors can leverage Canvas Tier I support at any time.
Students
Contact your instructor first
Your course instructor can frequently answer questions or make adjustments to your course that may resolve your question or concern. If a technical issue affects your ability to complete coursework, it is important for your instructor to be notified as quickly as possible before you continue.

Instructors (faculty, teaching academic staff, teaching assistants)
Some schools and colleges use CETL as their main support while others have their own support in house. CETL will always support all instructors at UWM.
