MyUW - Reference Content in MyUW
These are recommendations for referencing MyUW content in documentation, websites, KB docs, and emails.
Documentation Recommendations
These recommendations apply to both MyUW and MyUW Classic and can be adopted at any time. They are designed to make it easy for users to access information quickly. There are two general versions:
1. Use a direct link.
To access <content description>, use the MyUW <app name, direct linked to app>.
Example: To access Time and Absence, use the MyUW Time and Absence app.
2. Use a direct link, with the alternative to use search.
To access <content description>, use the MyUW <app name, direct linked to app>. You can also search in MyUW for <app name>.
Example: To access your ETF statement, use the MyUW Benefit Information app. You can also search in MyUW for benefit information.
The direct link redirects the user to the login page and then back to the focused view of the app.
In addition to using a direct link to the app itself, you can use a direct link to the directory details page for the app.
Example: To access HR, Payroll and Benefits News, use the MyUW HR, Payroll and Benefits News app. Learn more about the app on its details page.
Known Issues
A direct link to content a user is not authorized to access redirects to the home page with no error messaging.
Search results in MyUW do not currently prioritize by relevance.
