Service Description
The UWM RADIUS service (also known as Wireless Authentication) is an implementation of the RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial In User Service) networking protocol. UWM RADIUS verifies that a customer is who they claim to be when trying to access a service and that they are authorized to access this service.
This service is primarily infrastructure in nature and not directly accessed by its customers.

Credentials needed for access
An active ePantherID and password are required for access to this service.
Request access
Professional University IT staff who wish to configure another service to use the UWM RADIUS service should contact the IAM Infrastructure Team by emailing radius-support@uwm.edu.
The IAM Steering Committee reserves the right to limit access to this service to fulfill the requirements of credential assurance or mitigate data access risks.
Service Availability
This service is available 24/7 except during scheduled maintenance periods and unscheduled outages. For information about timeframes when service is unavailable, visit uwm.edu/gettechhelp.
