Remove Saved Passwords From Browser

This document explains how to remove saved passwords from Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari.

Internet Explorer

  1. Open the "Tools" menu (Alt + X).
  2. Select "Internet Options"
  3. Select the "Content" tab.
  4. Within the "AutoComplete" section, select "Settings"
  5. Select "Delete AutoComplete history.
  6. Toggle the box labeled "Passwords" then click "Delete" at the bottom.

Google Chrome

  1. Select the "Customize and control Google Chrome" button located at the upper right-hand corner of the screen and open the "Settings" menu.
  2. At the bottom of the page, select "Show Advanced Settings"
  3. Within the "Passwords and forms" section, select "Manage Passwords"
  4. From here, you can remove each password that has been saved.

Mozilla Firefox

Mac OS X

  1. Open the "Firefox" menu in the menu bar.
  2. Select "Preferences"
  3. Open the "Security" tab.
  4. Select "Saved Passwords"
  5. From here, you can remove each password that has been saved.

Windows

  1. In the menu bar, open the "Tools" menu.
  2. Select "Options"
  3. Open the "Security" tab.
  4. Select "Saved Passwords"
  5. From here, you can remove each password that has been saved.

Safari

  1. Open the "Safari" menu in the menu bar.
  2. Select "Preferences"
  3. Select the "Passwords" tab.
  4. From here, you can remove each password that has been saved.
