Faculty/staff installing software on a university-owned computer
This article describes the necessary steps for faculty/staff to install software on a university-owned computer without a desktop support service agreement.
How-to:
- Purchase software through the Software Shop at https://techmallshop.uwm.edu/xcart/e-shop/home.php.
- Once the confirmation e-mail has been received, bring computer and confirmation e-mail to TechRepair in Bolton 225.
- Note: Bring funding code as it will cost $20 for TechRepair to install software.
- TechRepair will need computer for approximately one day to install software - it is best to drop off in the morning and pickup in the afternoon.
