uFiles - Recover a deleted, missing, or modified file
If a document on uFiles is accidentally deleted, lost, or modified in such a way that useful information is lost, it may be recoverable using the "previous versions" feature.
Documents stored on uFiles are backed up twice daily on weekdays.
Applies to: Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1, Windows 10
1. Locate the uFiles folder where the deleted, missing or modified file was located. Right click the folder and select Properties.
2. Click on the Previous Versions tab.
A list of all available version backups is displayed. Go back to a date when the file you want to recover was still intact.
3. Double click the version backup you
would like to open. A new window opens with all of the files from the date you selected.
4. Locate your file backup and copy it
to a new location, such as your desktop or the current uFiles folder.
