UWM TechRepair is a service provided by UITS to students with hardware issues and software issues/software installs on their personal computers.
TechRepair is staffed by Dell and Apple authorized repair technicians.

Q. What are the hours of the UWM TechRepair?
A. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Summer/Winter Hours 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Q. Where is UWM TechRepair located?
A. Bolton Hall 218 - just inside the UITS Resource Center (Bolton 225).
Q. What does UWM TechRepair Repair?
A. The UWM TechRepair provides service for Apple and Dell computers that are in warranty and out of warranty as well as other devices and machines such as, but not limited to, Acer, HP, Asus, Lenovo. Please consult the service menu.
"Canned" TechRepair Statements:
- With a call specific to the TechRepair center gather basic information and assign to the TechRepair team. (Do not do. Direct them to TechRepair's phone number or to TechRepair's walk-in).
- Do NOT discuss pricing or promise anything.
- When a hardware issue is discovered with an Apple or Dell you may tell the client: "Sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your computer hardware. I can refer you to our TechRepair center. They are able to service Dell and Apple hardware and may be able to help you further."
