FTP
This article provides information on UWM's FTP (file transfer protocol)
Service Description
The FTP service provides a data transfer point (both incoming and outgoing) between UW-Milwaukee and UW-Madison utilizing the FTP file transfer protocol. Data is held temporarily so it can be accessed and transferred as needed by automated processes (managed mainly by Tidal IT Job Scheduling) and users with appropriate permissions in UITS, Human Resources, Enrollment Management, and other UWM departments. Much of this data is used by other IT services including Canvas, PAWS, HRS, SFS, pantherLIST, UWM Active Directory and others.
