M365 Outlook (How To) Prevent Outlook from Auto Adding Events to a Calendar

This article will provide steps to stop Outlook from automatically adding meetings to a calendar.

1: Select File from the main Outlook screen:  


2: Click Options, bottom left of screen:  


3: Once in Options, scroll down to Tracking section and uncheck the Automatically process meetings requests... function. This will disable meetings and polls from being automatically added to your Outlook calendar.
