Office 365 - Teams Live Events Known Issues
This article provides a list of known issues for the Live Events feature in Teams.
- The Q&A feature of Live Events may intermittently stop working for producers and moderators. In the Q&A pane of the Live Event, producers will see a loading "spinner" or an error message. The problem will usually resolve itself after a few minutes or can be manually corrected if the producer leaves and re-joins the Live Event.
- It is not possible for a presenter in a Live Event to share system audio along with their screen. Users have requested this feature in the Microsoft Teams UserVoice forum.
- Producers and attendees of Live Events may see the following message along with video/audio quality degradation: Your network is causing poor call quality. Try switching to a better network, or moving closer to a WiFi access point, or turning off video.
- This issue has been known to occur during the COVID-19 pandemic due to a higher than normal load on Microsoft's cloud services. UITS has confirmed that UWM's network infrastructure is not the cause of the issue.
This list will be updated with new issues as they are discovered as well as when known issues are resolved.
