uFiles Upgrade Outage Scheduled for October 7

There is a temporary planned outage scheduled for 10/7/15.
What is happening?
On Wednesday, October 7 beginning at 7:30 pm and ending at
midnight, UITS Data Center staff will be migrating data on uFiles to new
hardware. The upgrade will cause the inability for users to access files
stored on uFiles during this timeframe. Once the upgrade is complete,
users may need to reboot their devices to have access to the data.
NOTE: It
is important for you to save and close all documents, and reboot or shut down
your computer before you leave for the day on Wednesday, October 7th.
Why is the work necessary?
This upgrade is being done to provide newer and more reliable file storage.
What do I do if I have a problem?
Reboot your machine and attempt to access
the files again. If this does not resolve your issue, please contact the UWM Helpdesk.
