Responseware Problems in Some Classrooms

Turning Technologies (TurningPoint) experienced a breakdown of ResponseWare earlier this week affecting some but not all classrooms on campus.
While we wait for a fix, we have been supplied with free “loaner” clickers that students can use until the ResponseWare issues are resolved or until the end of the semester. Please tell your students who were not getting points with ResponseWare to come to the old Tech Store location at the Help Desk just inside BOL 225 to sign out a free loaner clicker. The loaners will be available in the old tech store as follows:
Thursday, Feb. 12 from 9:00am-4:30pm
Friday, Feb. 13 from 9:00am to 2:00pm
Monday, Feb. 16 from 9:00am-4:30pm
Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 9:00am-4:30pm
Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 9:00am-12:00pm
After February 18th, should you still have need of a loaner clicker, please visit the CETL Office in the UWM Golda Meir Library E177 from Tuesday through Friday between 10:00am and noon.
We will notify everyone as soon as Turning Technologies lets us know that the problem has been fixed. At which time you can let your students know that they should try their ResponseWare devices again.
