Golda Meir Library Network Hardware refresh, 5:30 AM - 7:30 AM, March 21-24

UITS Network Operations will be replacing the existing network switches in Golda Meir Library with new hardware next week.
During this work, devices will experience service interruptions when accessing any network resources. These interruptions may not last the entire length of the work, but may repeat during the maintenance window and network access should not be considered reliable during these time periods.
Due to the number of connections in the building and to minimize end-user impact, work will be done between the hours of 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM next Tuesday through Friday. Data jacks in the following areas are anticipated to have service interruptions on:
Tue, 3/21: 3rd and 4th floor
3W-001D thru 3W-168 and
4E-001D thru 4E-048D
Wed, 3/22: 2nd floor
2E-001D thru 2E-248D and
2W-001D thru 2W-488
Thu, 3/23: basement east
BE-001D thru BE-432
Fri, 3/24: basement west
BW-001D thru BW-240D
BW-241 thru BW-912
There is no need to turn off computers and printers ahead of time. If there's a problem connecting to the network after 7:30am, the device may need to be rebooted to re-establish its network connection. Printers often need a reboot in these cases. If problems persist, please escalate to the campus Help Desk as normal with the data jack number of the affected device.
