Dean of Students' Loaner Laptop Extension and Return Information

Students were able to borrow laptops from the Dean of Students, but the loan period is ending. Following is the information which was sent to the students on Monday, May 11, 2020 about how the computers should be returned. This information can be shared directly (cut and paste) to any students inquiring about the process for returns.

Subject: Laptop Returns and Reservation Extensions
Hello students,
I hope that your finals are going well. What a semester it has been!
I’m emailing you today to provide you with instructions on how to either (a) request to keep the laptop through the summer if you are enrolled in summer courses or (b.) return the laptop to the Student Union.
- Summer reservation: If you are enrolled in summer classes and you would like to borrow the laptop through the summer, please email me ASAP and I will confirm your enrollment and update your reservation.
- Returning laptops: If you are not enrolled in summer classes, you must return the device. You may return the laptop between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm, Monday through Friday this week and next week (May 11-15 and May 18 – 22).
- Please bring the laptop in a bag (to allow for a no contact transition)
- Enter the Union via the Kenwood Blvd entrance, farthest right door (in most cases where you picked up the laptop).
- Go to the Information Center in the Union Concourse.
- Provide their name and follow staff instructions to drop off the laptop.
