Global Protect VPN (How To) Install on Android Device
Following are the steps to install and configure Global Protect VPN on an Android device.
- Open the Play Store on your device.
- Locate the GlobalProtect application from Palo Alto Networks. This application should be free.
- Tap Install.
- Once installed, tap Open to open the application on your device. You can also open the application by tapping its icon from your home screen.
- Enter the portal address as remote-access.uwm.edu and tap "Connect"
- A pop up screen will appear. Tap OK to allow VPN connections on your device.
- Enter your normal login credentials (epantherID@uwm.edu and password) and then tap sign-in.
- You will then be prompted to choose a multi-factor authentication method to verify your identity.
- Once verified, you will then be connected!
- To disconnect, tap the green and white button in the middle of the screen.
