Global Protect VPN (How To) Install on Android Device

Following are the steps to install and configure Global Protect VPN on an Android device.

Open the Play Store on your device.

Locate the GlobalProtect application from Palo Alto Networks.  This application should be free.

Tap Install.

Once installed, tap Open to open the application on your device.  You can also open the application by tapping its icon from your home screen.

Enter the portal address as remote-access.uwm.edu and tap "Connect"

VPN configuration

A pop up screen will appear.  Tap OK to allow VPN connections on your device.

Enter your normal login credentials (epantherID@uwm.edu and password) and then tap sign-in.

Sign in

You will then be prompted to choose a multi-factor authentication method to verify your identity.

Once verified, you will then be connected!

To disconnect, tap the green and white button in the middle of the screen.
