"Unable to Connect to Wifi" popup

Troubleshooting steps that should be taken when "Unable to Connect to Wifi" notification pops up during UWM Wifi setup. UWM-Waukesha and UWM-Washington County both have the UWMWiFi network profile.


Troubleshooting:

If device cannot connect to UWM and displays a "Unable to Connect to Wifi" popup, the following steps should be taken. 

Troubleshooting**:
For UWMWiFi and eduroam issues:
  1. Delete the old UWMWiFi or eduroam profile and all other UWM WiFi profiles.
  2. Set up a new profile following the instructions available here.
Make Sure WiFi is switched on.

Make sure the WiFi on your device is switched on. 

Try moving to a different building.

Certain spots around campus (such as the Union or EMS) has lots of active users. Moving to a different building may help you get reconnected to a different WiFi access point.

Forget Wifi Network 

Restart the device. 

Re-add Wifi network.
