Microsoft Software (How to) Access Student Software through Dev Tools for Teaching
Students may be able to obtain the software for Microsoft applications through the Azure Dev Tools for Teaching portal.
Dev Tools for Teaching should only be used by UWM students. See Azure for Students Terms of Use for details.
Software titles available through this program include:
- SQL Server
- Visual Studio
- Azure DevOps Server
- Machine Learning Server
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including server operating systems
- Microsoft Project Professional (desktop version for Windows)
To Access Software Available through Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching

Navigate to https://azureforeducation.microsoft.com/devtools

Click the Sign In button and sign in by using your ePanther ID and password. You may be prompted for additional verification by entering your phone number for either a verification text or phone call.

Once signed in, choose Software from the list of tabs on the left side of the screen. A list of available software will appear along with a search bar to find the specific software you are looking for. These will be specific to Microsoft products, so no other software will be available through this portal.
