Remove Saved Passwords From Browser
This document explains how to remove saved passwords from Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari.
Internet Explorer
- Open the "Tools" menu (Alt + X).
- Select "Internet Options"
- Select the "Content" tab.
- Within the "AutoComplete" section, select "Settings"
- Select "Delete AutoComplete history.
- Toggle the box labeled "Passwords" then click "Delete" at the bottom.
Google Chrome
- Select the "Customize and control Google Chrome" button located at the upper right-hand corner of the screen and open the "Settings" menu.
- At the bottom of the page, select "Show Advanced Settings"
- Within the "Passwords and forms" section, select "Manage Passwords"
- From here, you can remove each password that has been saved.
Mozilla Firefox
Mac OS X
- Open the "Firefox" menu in the menu bar.
- Select "Preferences"
- Open the "Security" tab.
- Select "Saved Passwords"
- From here, you can remove each password that has been saved.
Windows
- In the menu bar, open the "Tools" menu.
- Select "Options"
- Open the "Security" tab.
- Select "Saved Passwords"
- From here, you can remove each password that has been saved.
Safari
- Open the "Safari" menu in the menu bar.
- Select "Preferences"
- Select the "Passwords" tab.
- From here, you can remove each password that has been saved.
