Basic Information - J Drive
The purpose of the J Drive account is to provide a good way for business students to submit homework for grading as they complete their projects. The account is a shared account and the faculty/instructor will have immediate and direct access to your files. The only files you should store there are files for your class â nothing else. Space is limited and inspected by faculty and network administrators â it is not private file space.
How to access the J Drive in Lubar Lab?
- Click on Other User in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
- Enter your User ID and Password as was provided by your instructor. Typically the User ID is simply your ePanther ID and the Password is 5 characters long.
- The login script will map to J: drive. Double click My Computer or open an Explorer window to find your course & section folder on the J: drive. Look in your course & section folder to find your homework folder (e.g.: J:\432001\smith).
Students enrolled in classes utilizing the J Drive may set-up their computers/laptops to connect to the J Drive remotely by following the instructions below based on their Operating System. As of now, we do not have instructions for Mac OS installation/set-up for the J Drive.
