Outlook for Mac (How To) Turn on Focused Inbox

This article provides instructions for how to turn on Focused Inbox in the Outlook application on a Mac computer.

Focused Inbox is a feature of Microsoft Outlook that sorts your email messages into two folders: Focused and Other.

 

To turn on the Focused Inbox feature on a Mac computer:

 

  • Open the Outlook App
  • In the Menu bar at the top of your screen, click the View tab
  • From the drop-down menu, select the option to Turn on Focused Inbox
    • The presence of a check mark next to the option is an indication that the Focused Inbox feature is turned on.

To turn off the Focused Inbox feature on a Mac computer:

  • Select the checked option to Turn on Focused Inbox
    • The absence of a check mark next to the option is an indication that the Focused Inbox feature is turned off.
