M365 (Information) - Accessing SharePoint Through the M365 Apps Page and Direct URL
SharePoint is the primary web‑based collaboration and document storage platform available to faculty, staff, and students through Microsoft 365. There are two easy ways to access SharePoint: through the Microsoft 365 apps page or by navigating directly to the SharePoint root site. Here’s how to do both.
Access SharePoint Through the M365 Apps Page
Accessing SharePoint through the Microsoft 365 portal is fast, convenient, and works from any device with a web browser.
- Go to the M365 Apps page: https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps/
- Sign in with your UWM Microsoft 365 credentials.
- Select SharePoint.
- You’re in! From there, you can view sites you follow, recently visited sites, and recommended resources.

For users who prefer bookmarking or need direct access, you can go straight to the root SharePoint site.
