Jamf Connect / Local Login (For Shared Accounts, After Update, or After Password Change on another device)
Signing into Shared Machine for the first time:
When opening or turning on a computer for the first time, you will be presented with the Entra Login window, commonly referred to as the Jamf Login Window. This is the normal route for logging in and using your credentials. If you do not see this window, please make sure you are either connected via Ethernet or the UWMGuest WIFI to start. NOTE: You cannot connect to the UWMWIFI from the login screen.

If you have any issues logging into the machine from this page, please reach out to UWM Helpdesk.
Signing into a Machine after an Update:
If you do not see the same login as the image below, you will need to follow the steps on how to log in locally. NOTE: This can only be done if you have previously signed into the machine.
How to Log in Locally:
If you need to log in with a Local account that was added to the machine, you can use one of the icons at the top right of the display. The next Picture shows what each of the icons does:

To log in locally, select the far left icon that looks like a Computer.
This will switch you to the local account login, where you will be prompted to enter a username (Just ePanther, not full email) and password at the bottom of the screen.

To switch back to the Jamf Login Window from the local login screen:
You will need to click on the far-left icon that looks like a Computer.

You will then see the Jamf Login Window.

If you do not see this window or see any sort of error, please make sure you are either connected via Ethernet or the UWM.
Signing into a Machine after updating the password on a different device:
- Sign into the JAMF Login Window with your UWM Email.
- Enter your most current UWM password.
- You will see a Microsoft Entra ID window asking you to enter your local account password. You will enter your last known password used to sign into the machine.

- Click Sync, and then your account has been re-synced. Moving forward, you will sign in now with your most current password.
If you have any issues re-syncing your account or do not remember your old password, please reach out to UWM Helpdesk.
