Canvas (External Tools) NetTutor FAQs
What is NetTutor?
NetTutor is an online platform that students can access through Canvas. It provides one-on-one tutoring and other academic supports for a variety of disciplines. View a demo of NetTutor.
Who can use NetTutor?
The primary users of NetTutor are students receiving assistance from the Student Success Center, but it is available for use in any course. To enable the tool, instructors must add NetTutor to the navigation bar settings of their Canvas course.
Where can students and instructors go for support with NetTutor?
NetTutor offers videos and user guides, searchable knowledge base, a list of frequently asked questions, and a contact form for direct assistance.
What should I do if I have an accessibility concern?
Students should communicate accessibility concerns with the course instructor and the UWM's Accessibility Resource Center (ARC)
