Copilot Chat can be accessed directly via https://m365.cloud.microsoft/chat. Alternatively, Copilot Chat can be accessed via the Microsoft 365 Copilot icon from the sidebar on the M365 web page:

Accessing Copilot Chat directly through your UWM Microsoft 365 account is the University supported and safe way to utilize the tool. Look for the green shield in the upper right corner – this means Enterprise data protection is applied:

You can get quick summaries about specific topics, analyze or compare products to make informed business decisions, create images, draft content, and learn new skills.
How is Copilot evaluated?
Providing feedback via the Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down icons will aid in teaching Copilot which responses are and are not helpful to you as a user. Microsoft will use this feedback to improve Copilot, just like we use customer feedback to improve other Microsoft 365 services and Microsoft 365 apps. Microsoft doesn't use this feedback to train the foundation models used by Copilot.
How accurate are Microsoft 365 Copilot responses?
Does UWM have access to Copilot for Microsoft 365 apps?
UWM does not offer access to Copilot for Microsoft 365 apps (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.) at this time.
How can I use Copilot Chat in M365 apps?
Copilot Chat is now available side-by-side in select Microsoft 365 apps, starting with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook. Whether you're drafting a document, analyzing data, building a presentation, or managing your inbox, Copilot Chat is here to help in the apps you use daily. What languages are supported?
Copilot supports a wide range of languages. For the latest information on languages that have been tested and validated for all Copilot apps, see Supported languages for Microsoft Copilot.
You can also try other languages with Copilot Chat though results may vary. If you try another language, please use the Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down feedback controls to let us know how your experience was.How can I remove Copilot Chat from M365 Apps?
By default, Copilot Chat will appear in both the web and desktop versions of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. If you want to remove Copilot Chat, you can do so by right-clicking the icon and select Unpin.
