About Vevox
Vevox is being piloted at UWM as a live polling, Q&A, and quizzing platform. Used strategically, Vevox can help instructors check understanding and spark discussion in real time. It integrates with Canvas and works alongside Microsoft Teams and Zoom, making it easy to add interactive activities to classes and meetings. Students join from any device—phone, laptop, or tablet—and can respond anonymously or with their name using polls, word clouds, quizzes, and moderated Q&A.
Support for Vevox is provided by the UWM Help Desk in-partnership with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). Vevox is a part of the UWM Digital Learning Environment managed by CETL. Do you have questions, comments or feedback? Contact the UWM Help Desk. Instructors may contact CETL or book an appointment with a Teaching and Learning consultant for assistance with student engagement guidance and best practices.
