(How To) Create & Submit a Server Request in Ivanti Neurons

This article provides instructions for how to request server assistance using Ivanti Neurons.

If you manage or need to establish a new server for university purposes, the following instructions walk you through submitting a server request. Once submitted, your request is directed to UWM IT’s Information Technology Architecture & Infrastructure team. After a short intake period, someone will reach out to help you with your request.  

To get started: 

  1. Log in to Ivanti Neurons using your UWM credentials. 

  1. Navigate to the IT Self Service Portal.

  1. Select Request Something from the list of options.

  1. Open the drop-down menu on the left and select IT Service.

  1. Select Server Request.

  1. In the window that appears, select Request.

  1. Fill out all required fields; additional fields will appear once the operating system (Server Type) is selected. 

  1. Once you have completed the form, select Review & Submit.
