Classes & Enrollment - Schedule Planner

The Schedule Planner is a tool designed to help you efficiently build your class schedule. This article will provide information on general use cases, FAQ, and how advisors can make the most of the Schedule Planner.

For information on the Schedule Planner visit the Using Schedule Planner on the Registrar's Office page which details how to access and use the Schedule Planner.  Students will access the Planner through PAWS. 

To Reach the Schedule Planner on PAWS

  1. Log in to PAWS

  2. Under the Academics header, click on the Schedule Planner link.


  3. Click the OPEN SCHEDULE PLANNER button (make sure pop-up blocker is disabled). NOTE:Some features not compatible with Internet Explorer.  Another browser is recommended.

  4. Use the onscreen options to select your term, filter and identify courses, add in break/busy times, then generate possible schedules.

  5. Before sending courses to your shopping cart, choose your grading basis (most often this is “graded”) and enter any permission numbers if necessary.

  6. When you identify the schedule you want, click Validate to make sure you’re eligible to enroll in all the courses on that schedule.

  7. Click the Enroll button.
