Office 365 (SharePoint) - Flow or PowerApps Connector Request

This document describes how to submit a request to the Office 365 administrators to have a Flow and PowerApps connector moved from the No business data allowed data group to the Business data only group.

Connectors for Microsoft Flow and PowerApps connect Office 365 apps with one another as well as with external services. In order to protect sensitive University data hosted in Office 365 services such as SharePoint from leaving the institution via consumer services (e.g., Dropbox, box, Twitter), administrators have implemented Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies. These policies define which services University data can be shared with when using Flow and PowerApps.

DLP classifies services into two data groups: Business data only and No business data allowed. Both Flow and PowerApps will be prevented from sharing data between services in different groups but can share data between services within the same group.

You can submit a request to the Office 365 administrators to have a Flow and PowerApps connector moved from the No business data allowed data group to the Business data only group by completing the form on the IAM website:
