More Options, Transfer and Park Calls

Transfer

This method is used to transfer a call directly to another user's phone or voicemail. Users can transfer directly to another user by typing in their name, ePantherID, or phone number. The following article from Microsoft provides instructions on how to Transfer a call in Teams with both the desktop and mobile apps. Additionally, this article provides instructions on how to use the Consult then transfer tool.

Parked Calls

This method is used to transfer an existing call from one device to another, but within a single phone line. For example; if I am taking a call on my desktop computer but I wish to transfer the call to the Teams app on my mobile phone, I would park the call on my desktop first to place it on hold, and then I would pick up the parked call on my mobile phone by entering a code. The following article from Microsoft provides instructions on how to Park a call in Teams.
