EMS - User Management

This document describes how to grant access to a new EMS user.

Help Desk

  1. Get the user's ePanther ID and the computer name that they would access EMS from.
  2. Add the computer name to the 'SA-Software Deployment-EMS' group which will make sure the computer will have EMS available for use on it. Check the software center if it does not automatically install.
  3. Escalate the ticket to Union Business Systems with the task name "EMS Account Creation" and their epanther ID included. With this information UBS will make an account for them, send them an email about it, and close the ticket.


Generally Union REPS and EMS users have full authority to edit the EMS permissions as needed. If any of these requests get through to us, follow these steps:
  1. Get the information from the Help Desk ticket or from the customer.
  2. Send the information to Union REPS or Mike Schmidt.
