Office 365 (Outlook) - Viewing Membership of a Shared Mailbox

This document contains instructions on how to find the owners of a Shared Mailbox by searching within Office365.

What to gather:
ePanther ID
Full name of the Shared Mailbox



Step 1:
Sign in to Office365 through the direct address to the login page (outlook.office365.com)

Step 2:
Click on the segmented box in the upper left corner to reveal a drop-down menu
Click on the "People' option



Step 3:
Use the search bar in the upper left to search for the desired Shared Mailbox and click show more.


Step 4:
In the Search Results on the left hand side, make sure to have Search results from set to All. Also make sure to have Include results from set to Distribution lists. 
Click on the name of the group to bring up the list of Members and Owners on the right hand  side. Users can view Members and Owners of these mailboxes, as well as send messages to the desired mailbox.
