Clearing Browser Cache - Chrome, Firefox, Edge

The following is a guide on how to clear cache (and other data) on the following browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

Clearing your browsers cache

Google Chrome

To clear the cache begin by clicking the icon with 3 lines at the top right corner.


When the menu pops up, click the Settings option


A settings tab should pop up.

Proceed by scrolling down and clicking on the Show advanced settings button


Click on the Clear browsing data.. button under the Privacy settings

A pop should appear, proceed by:

A. Clicking the drop down menu and setting the option to the beginning of time.
B. Making sure the Cached images and files box is checked (you may also at this time check other boxes to delete any other data such as browser history).
C. Click Clear browsing data to confirm deleting the cache.
 



Mozilla Firefox

To clear the cache begin by clicking the icon with 3 lines at the top right corner. When the small window pops up, find and click the Options button.


A new tab should pop up. Proceed by:
A. Making sure the Advanced option is selected.
B. Click on the Network tab.
C. Hit the Clear Now button to the right of the Cached Web Content area.




Microsoft Edge

To clear the cache, begin by clicking the three dots at the top right corner and clicking settings.




Follow up by clicking the Choose what to clear button that appears in the following screen.


In the following screen, click the Cached data and files and make sure the box is checked (you may also at this time check other boxes to delete any other data such as browsing history).
Then click Clear to clear cached data.
