Office 365 (Known Issues) - Limited Functionality in Outlook for Mac 2011
Individuals may find that Outlook for Mac 2011 does not contain the full range of functionality as Outlook 2013.
Limited Functionality
Individuals will be unable to perform certain operations within the Outlook 2011 desktop client. Known limitations include:
- Accessing some shared calendars that have been accepted in OotW.
- Microsoft
Outlook for Mac 2011 does not update your Microsoft Exchange calendar
when you accept a meeting request. When you accept a meeting and then
select Do not Send a Response, Outlook for Mac 2011 updates your local calendar but does not update the calendar on your Exchange mailbox.
- "Add Contact Group" option may be grayed out.
- Contact
groups are not saved to the Exchange server. Any groups that you create
are saved on your computer and are available only in Outlook 2011 for
Mac.

For full functionality, use Outlook 2013 on a Windows machine or navigate to outlook.office365.com
