Computer Kiosk and Clock-In Station (SAITS Only) - Set Up

Documentation on how to setup Kiosks or Persistent Programs in Student Affairs.

Standard Kiosk Set-up

1.  Add computer to be imaged to the security group called SA-Win10-NoWord located in AD: SA/Groups/Security/System Center/Imaging/SA-Win10-NoWord

2.  Update the collection in SCCM called SA - Image - Windows 10 - No Word located:  \Assets and Compliance\Overview\Device Collections\SA\Re-Imaging\Windows 10

3.  Once computer is in the collection, boot the device to USB and run the task sequence called:  SA-  Windows 10  - No MS Office

4.  Once the image has completed login to the machine.

5.  Add computer to security group in AD called:  SA-NewKiosks  -  located: SA/Groups/Security/System Center/Imaging/SA-NewKiosks

6.  Go to SCCM and update the collection called New Kiosks - located:  Device Collections\SA\Active Directory\Kiosks

7.  Run the Machine policy on the configuration manager on the computer.

8.  Look in software center for the application called Autologon sa-kiosk-g and run it.  This will create the autologon account.

9.  Restart the computer and be sure that the autologon occurs.  If it does not then verify the registry values.

10.  Add computer to security group in AD called:  SA-Workstations-Kiosk

11.  Move computer to OU under kiosk (SA/Workstations/Kiosks) to receive the group policy.

12.  Feel free to do a gpupdate force or restart.



Standard HRS Clock-in Set-up

1.  Add computer to be imaged to the security group called SA-Win10-NoWord located in AD: SA/Groups/Security/System Center/Imaging/SA-Win10-NoWord

2.  Update the collection in SCCM called SA - Image - Windows 10 - No Word located:  \Assets and Compliance\Overview\Device Collections\SA\Re-Imaging\Windows 10
