Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless signal used to communicate between devices within an approximately 30ft radius.  It is used most commonly between phones and other connected devices such as car stereos, speakers, headphones, and connected home devices such as the Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and others. 

Bluetooth is most notably symbolized by a white character in the shape of a B with a blue oval around it.

BP Logix

BP Logix is a workflow software currently utilized by FAA HR that allows UWM employees to complete form requests from HR regarding processes and/or needed information from the UWM employee base. This product is also known as eWorkflow and Streamline.


Browser

An application that allows a user to interact with information found on the World Wide Web.  Common web browsers include Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox.


Browser Friendly

Browser friendly refers to settings on a web browser that ensure the browser will be as compatible with UWM services like PAWS and Canvas as possible. Browser friendlies include steps like clearing the cache and changing the top language in the web browser to English-United States.


Bug

A mistake or unwanted piece of code that makes a website or program either work differently than intended, or not at all.
