- If you are a first time users, take a tour and get setup using the Get Started with Collaborate Ultra for Participants guide
- Know how to communicate with your instructor outside of Collaborate Ultra (mobile phone or forwarded office phone) in case you have problems accessing the session
- Be sure to enter the session 10-15 minutes early to address any technical problems that could occur
- Double check the directions your instructor gave you about which session you need to choose in Collaborate Ultra and how to access the room
- Follow best practices for the best connection experience
- If you are presenting materials or working with a small group, use audio instead of video to minimize network connection issues
- Multiple video feeds can slow connection speeds (called latency)
- Switch to audio only communication if you begin to experience latency
