Creating a PowerPoint with hand-written information using QuickTime

This tutorial will show instructors how to create a PowerPoint with hand-written information using QuickTime for Mac.

Step #1

Open QuickTime. Click [File] and select [Screen Recording].

Step #2

From the [Options] menu, under

Step #3

Drag the corners of the selection frame to meet the corners of your monitor. Select [Record Selected Portion]

Step #5

Ensure that all 4 corners of the selection frame positioned on the corners of your monitor. Click the [Record] button

Step #6

The timer will count down to indicate that the recording will begin. As the timer counts down, click the [Slide Show] button to begin displaying the presentation full screen

Step #7

Begin narrating the slides, click the space bar on your keyboard to advance to the next slide. Once the slide show has begun, click the drawing menu.

Step #8

Select the [Pen] tool to draw on the screen

Step #9

Select the [Highlighter] tool to highlight text.

Step #10

When the presentation is finished, hit the [Esc] key on your keyboard to exit the slide show. Click the [Keep] button, if you want to save the presentation

Step #11

To end the QuickTime recording, click the [Stop] button in the upper Mac menu

Step #12

After your Screen Recording is complete, select [File], [Export As], and [1080p]
