Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes - "Assign To" Look & Feel Updated
The look and feel of the Assign area for Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes has changed in the following ways:
- The Assign To, Due, Available From and Until date fields have been moved to a tray that can be accessed by clicking Manage Assign To at the bottom of the page.
- An Assign To button has been added to the top of the Assignments and Discussions pages. Note that this button is available when you click on the Assignment or Discussion and before you click Edit.

In the old interface, the Assign area appeared at the bottom of Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes.

In the new interface, the Assign area was replaced with the Assign Access area. Instructors can click the Manage Assign To link to open the Assign To area in a tray that appears on the right side of the page.

Modules - "Assign to" Functionality Added (NEW)
- Instructors now have the ability to assign a Module and some or all of its contents to individual students and course sections.
- The look and feel of the Add Module and Edit Module Settings pages has changed. The pages were redesigned as trays that appear on the right side of the screen.
Modules - Edit Settings Look & Feel Updated
The look and feel of Module Settings has been updated. When you click a module's kebab > Edit, the Edit Module Settings tray opens on the right side of the page and contains two tabs:
- Settings - Instructors can change the module's name, lock the module until a certain date, and add Requirements to the module.
- Assign To - This new feature allows instructors to assign the module and some or all of its contents to individual students and course sections.
Pages - "Assign To" Functionality Added (NEW)
Instructors now have the ability to assign a Page to individual students and course sections.
