PointSolutions (formerly TurningPoint) - Getting Started Guide for Students
Step 1: Purchase a subscription (If you don't have one)
To use PointSolutions you will need to purchase a license and optional hardware clicker device. If you are a new student, you can purchase a PointSolutions (PS) subscription card/code from the UWM Virtual Bookstore.
If you already have a subscription, you can skip this step. To verify whether you do or don't, login to PointSolutions to see if your subscription is still active.

Step 2: Create a PointSolutions account (if you don't have one)
After purchasing the subscription, create a PointSolutions account using your UWM email address. Visit the PointSolutions app website and click "Get Started Here". Once your account is created, follow the instructions to activate your subscription.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU DO NOT USE YOUR UWM EMAIL ADDRESS TO REGISTER WITH POINTSOLUTIONS, YOU WILL NOT GET CREDIT FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!
You will not be able to participate in interactive lectures if you do not own a license.

Step 3: (If you have a physical clicker) register your device
If you purchased a hardware device, after you've logged into your PointSolution account, register your device.

Step 4: Test your device
Before using your device in class, test it to ensure that it is working properly.

Step 5: Use your device in class
You can now use your physical clicker or mobile device to participate in class activities. If your instructor is giving credit for your participation, be sure to check your grades for scores. If you don't see your score, contact your instructor.
