Get a Share Link for Your My Media Video

Use the following steps to get a shareable link to your My Media video. This link can be shared with viewers both inside and outside of UWM.

Written Procedure – Get My Media Video's Share Link

  1. Go to Canvas.
  2. Click your account > My Media.

  1. Click the video you want to share.

  1. Click to briefly play the video.

  1. Immediately click Pause.

  1. Click the Share icon.

  1. Click the email icon, then click the copy icon to copy the video's URL.

You can post the link in Canvas, post the link on a website, email the link, etc. This link will work for people with UWM logins and people outside of the university.
