Accessibility - ARConnect Student Portal

This article provides an overview of ARConnect, the online student accommodation management system for students registered in the UWM Accessibility Resource Center.

What is ARConnect?

ARConnect is the home base for disabled students who are registered in ARC. Once logged in, students can request accommodations for their semester courses, schedule exams to be taken in ARC’s Testing Center, request appointments to meet with ARC staff, etc.

Who can use ARConnect?

This portal is available only to UWM students who are registered with ARC. If a student would like to register in ARC for accommodations, they must first complete an online application and – when meeting with an Access Specialist in ARC – provide formal documentation of their disability/disabilities.

What should I do if I have a question about accommodations or using ARConnect?

Students can reach out to ARC’s main office by phone (414-229-6287), email (archelp@uwm.edu), or to ARC’s Assistive Technology Coordinator (ccraig@uwm.edu).

What is an alternative to using ARConnect to manage accommodations?

At this time, there are no alternatives. However, the Assistive Technology Coordinator can provide training for ARC students if needed.
