What Is Zoom Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion?

Zoom Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion is a feature that uses generative AI technology to help generate and organize ideas in Zoom Whiteboard.

Is Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion Enabled in My Zoom Account?

By default, Zoom Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion features are turned off in your Zoom user settings. 

Enabling Zoom Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion

  1. Sign in to the UWM Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Settings.
  3. Click the AI Companion tab.
  4. Under Whiteboard, click the Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion toggle to enable or disable it.

Using Zoom Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion - in a Zoom Meeting

Make sure Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion is enabled (link above)

In your Zoom meeting, create a Zoom Whiteboard as you normally would. 

The Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion tool will appear under your Whiteboard toolbar.

Using Zoom Whiteboard Content Generation with AI Companion - Outside of a Zoom Meeting

Zoom Whiteboards do not need to be generated inside of a Zoom meeting. Instead, you can create and edit Zoom Whiteboards directly in the UWM Zoom Portal. 

  1. Sign in to the UWM Zoom web portal.
  2. Click Whiteboards in the left-hand panel.
  3. Click the New Whiteboard button on the top right of the page. 
  4. Click to select a template to use, or click X to close the Template window.
  5. Click the Share button on the top right of the page.
