About:

Starting in Spring 2025, UWM began providing centralized course evaluation services via Explorance Blue. Course evaluations can be accessed via Canvas or a direct link sent to student emails, are anonymous, help improve courses, and are used to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning goals.

Key Facts:

  • End-of-semester course evaluations open during the last few weeks of class
  • Course evaluations are anonymous
  • Instructors cannot access course evaluations until after final grades are due
  • Course evaluations are available for all graded courses with at least five students enrolled
  • This service is still being piloted, which means that not every academic unit is currently using it
