This article provides information on usage and support for zyBooks at UWM.

What is zyBooks? 

zyBooks is a virtual textbook with interactive tools, responsive questions, and animations to provide students with a rich learning experience for STEM courses.

Who can use zyBooks? 

Students should contact their instructors or refer to their syllabus for information on usage in their course, and any associated costs.

zyBooks is currently available for integration with Canvas at UWM by request. Instructors should email Center for Advancing Student Learning.

What should I do if I have an accessibility concern? 

Students should communicate accessibility concerns with the course instructor and the UWM's Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) 

Instructors should report any accessibility concerns to zyBooks using the Submit a request to zyBooks option. If concerns persist, please email Center for Excellence in teaching and Learning. For more information go to zyBooks - Accessibilty

What are the alternatives to zyBooks? 

Instructors are encouraged to explore Open Educational Resources (OER) at UWM for suitable alternatives in order to reduce cost to students.
