Student Guide to Creating Text and Image Presentations Using Word and PowerPoint
Using these instructions students can submit a textual report, students can write the narrative in a Word document and insert images at the appropriate location. The images can be PowerPoint slides, which could be exported from PowerPoint and inserted into Word. Once completed, presentations can be converted into PDF and uploaded to a Canvas Assignment or Discussion Reply.

- Once the PowerPoint presentation is created, click [File] and select [Save As].
- Navigate to the folder where you want to save your slides.
- Click the [Save as type] drop-down menu and select [PNG Portable Network Graphics Format (.png)]
- Click [Save].
- When prompted “Which slides do you want to export?” in the dialog box, select [All Slides]. This will save your slide as image to a folder on your computer.
