Accessing Shared or Copied Session Files in PointSolutions (TurningPoint)

This support article contains information on accessing shared or copied PointSolutions session. This article additionally provides instructions for accessing shared or copied PointSolutions session files. Users can share these session files with others, and the process involves launching the PointSolutions application, importing the saved session data file, and optionally entering a password if one has been set by the original Instructor.

After running a clickers session, the saved session file can be shared to other Instructors, TA/TA or UWM Staff if the Instructor desires or can be copied from the Podium Computer to a Home/Office computer.

  1. Launch PointSolutions Application on your office or home computer.
  2. In the dashboard, click the Manage tab.
  3. Open the Sessions dropdown menu.
  4. Select Import.

  5. Browse your computer for the saved session data file.
  6. Select Leave in Place checkbox and click OK.

  7. Click OK in the Import Summary window that opens.
  8. The imported session file will appear under AUTO.

NOTE: If the Instructor sharing the Session file has created a password, there will be a prompt to enter password before continuing. In this case, contact the original Instructor for password
