Discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced files
Adobe is updating the Creative Cloud storage system and will phase out the Creative Cloud Synced Files feature for business customers using Creative Cloud for Teams and Enterprise plans. This service, which syncs files between local devices and cloud storage, will no longer be available starting February 3, 2025. File and folder sharing from Synced Files will stop, and cloud-based copies of files will be removed, although files on local devices will remain unaffected. Sharing will still work within organizations until February 3, 2025, but external sharing has already been discontinued.
Adobe recommends that users move their assets from the local Creative Cloud Files folder to supported storage solutions like Frame.io, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) assets, or third-party cloud storage with sync capabilities. At the very least, users should back up their content to a location other than the Creative Cloud Files folder on their local devices. This is to ensure proper storage and access after the discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced Files.
